Why choose us

Six reasons Zimbabwean businesses trust JomeTech.

We built JomeTech to be the technology partner we wished existed when we were running businesses ourselves — honest, present, local, and genuinely good at what we do.

Based in Harare, built for Africa

Our engineers, designers, and support team are based right here in Zimbabwe. We understand EcoCash, ZWL, multi-currency invoicing, load-shedding, and the realities of doing business in this market because we live them every day.

Real people, not ticketing bots

When you phone us, a human answers. When you WhatsApp us, you get a thoughtful reply within hours, not days. When your site goes down, the engineer who built it is the one fixing it — and you have their direct line.

Fixed-scope, transparent pricing

No hidden retainers, no surprise invoices, no scope creep. Every project starts with a free consultation and a written proposal. You know what you're paying, what you're getting, and when it will be delivered — before we write a line of code.

Fast, reliable, mobile-first

Over 80% of Zimbabwean web traffic is mobile. We design every site, app, and system mobile-first, tune them for 3G connections, and deploy on African infrastructure so your users in Harare, Bulawayo, or Mutare get near-instant loads.

Integrated with what you already use

EcoCash, Paynow, InnBucks, Mukuru, Visa, Mastercard, ZIMRA, accounting systems, SMS gateways, WhatsApp Business — we integrate with the tools your business and your customers actually use, not hypothetical Silicon Valley APIs.

Long-term partners, not contractors

Most of our clients have been with us for years. We don't ship a project and disappear — we stay, we train your team, we update your systems, we advise on strategy. Your success is the only measure of ours.

How We Work

A proven 5-step process from idea to launch.

We've refined this workflow across years of projects — from small WordPress sites to enterprise ERPs. Every client gets the same clarity, discipline, and accountability.

01

Discover

A free 60-minute consultation where we listen, ask hard questions, and map out what success looks like for your project. No jargon, no hard sell.

02

Propose

Within 48 hours you receive a written, fixed-scope proposal — clear deliverables, transparent pricing in USD, realistic timelines, and a single point of contact.

03

Design

We design the look, feel, and flow first — wireframes, mockups, prototypes you can click through. You approve each stage before we write code.

04

Build

Our engineers build in agile sprints, sharing progress weekly. You see the work take shape, give feedback early, and watch your vision become a working system.

05

Launch & Support

We handle deployment, training, and documentation. After launch, we stay — monitoring, maintaining, and improving your system for as long as you need us.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most.

Still have questions? Contact us — a real person will respond within hours, not days.

How much does a website cost in Zimbabwe?

Pricing depends on scope. A simple business website with 5–7 pages typically starts from around US$500. A full e-commerce site with EcoCash and Paynow integration starts from US$1,500. Custom web applications and ERPs are quoted based on features. Every project begins with a free consultation and a written, fixed-scope proposal — no hidden costs.

Do you offer hosting for the websites you build?

Yes. Our sister company JomeTech Hosting provides fast, secure hosting on SSD servers with African and international nodes. You get free SSL, daily backups, cPanel, and human support via WhatsApp. You can pay monthly in USD, ZWL, EcoCash, or Paynow. Of course, you're also free to host elsewhere if you prefer.

How long does a typical project take?

Simple brochure websites: 3–4 weeks. E-commerce sites: 6–10 weeks. Custom business applications: 2–6 months depending on complexity. We give you a realistic timeline in the proposal — and we stick to it. Most projects finish on time because we plan carefully before we start.

Do you integrate EcoCash, Paynow, and local payment methods?

Absolutely — these are our bread and butter. We integrate EcoCash, Paynow, InnBucks, Mukuru, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Stripe, bank transfers, and ZIMRA fiscalisation. If your customers use it in Zimbabwe, we've probably built for it.

Will my website rank on Google?

Every website we build has SEO baked in: fast load times, clean URLs, meta tags, schema markup, XML sitemaps, mobile-first responsive design, and technical optimizations most agencies charge extra for. We also offer ongoing SEO and content services to help you rank for competitive Zimbabwean keywords.

Do you support clients outside Harare?

Yes. We work with clients across Zimbabwe — Bulawayo, Mutare, Gweru, Masvingo, Kwekwe, Victoria Falls — and across the SADC region: South Africa, Zambia, Botswana, Mozambique. Video calls, WhatsApp, and email work beautifully for remote collaboration. For larger clients we also travel on site.
