We audit about 200 Zimbabwean business websites a year. The same gaps come up over and over. Here’s the checklist we use internally — use it to audit your own site.

- SSL certificate (https, green padlock in browser)
- Mobile responsive — tested on a small Android phone
- Page loads under 3 seconds on 3G
- Clear phone number in the header — clickable to call
- WhatsApp link — with a pre-filled message
- Physical address with Google Maps embed
- Working contact form — tested monthly
- Email address that actually gets checked
- Business hours
- Clear description of what you actually do (above the fold)
- Testimonials or social proof
- Pricing information or “how to get a quote” clarity
SEO essentials
- Meta title and description on every page
- Google Analytics and Search Console connected
- XML sitemap submitted to Google
- LocalBusiness schema markup with coordinates
- Google Business Profile claimed and linked to site
Trust and conversion
- Privacy policy, terms of service, cookie policy (POPIA-compliant)
- Real team photos and bios (or at least “about us” with founder name)
- Social media links
- Case studies or portfolio with real results
- Clear call-to-action on every page
Performance

If your current website is missing 5 or more of these, you’re losing business to competitors who have them. Request a free site audit and we’ll send you a detailed report within 2 business days.
