How We Work

Our process for delivering technology projects — transparent, collaborative, and outcome-focused.

A process built for outcomes, not billable hours

Most technology projects in Zimbabwe fail not because of bad code — they fail because of bad processes. Scope creeps, timelines slip, communication breaks down, and six months later the client has a half-finished product and a budget overrun. We’ve spent years refining a process that avoids these traps.

Our five-stage process

1. Discover

Before we write any code or quote any price, we want to understand your business. We’ll spend 60–90 minutes on a free consultation learning about your goals, your users, your constraints, and what success actually looks like. No obligation. If we’re not the right team, we’ll tell you and point you somewhere better.

2. Propose

Within 1–2 business days of our discovery call, we send a written proposal. It includes: fixed scope (exactly what we’ll build), fixed price (no hourly billing surprises), clear timeline (with milestones), and a breakdown of what’s included vs. optional.

3. Design

Once you approve the proposal and pay the 50% deposit, we start with design. For websites, that means wireframes first, then visual mockups. For software, that means user flows, data models, and a clickable prototype. You see and approve every screen before we write production code.

4. Build

Development happens in sprints with weekly check-ins. You get access to a staging environment from day one so you can see progress in real time. We don’t disappear for two months and surprise you with a finished product — we build alongside you.

5. Launch & Support

Before launch we run QA, performance testing, and security hardening. On launch day we handle DNS, SSL, monitoring, and backups. After launch you get 30 days of free support for anything that breaks, and an optional monthly retainer for ongoing updates.

What you can expect from us

  • 24-hour response times — we answer every email, message, and missed call within a business day. Usually much faster.
  • Weekly written updates — a short report every Friday showing what we did, what’s next, and any blockers.
  • Honest timelines — we’d rather quote 8 weeks and deliver in 7 than quote 4 weeks and deliver in 10.
  • Plain English — we explain things without hiding behind jargon. If you don’t understand something, that’s our fault, not yours.

  • A single decision-maker — one person who can approve designs and make scope calls.
  • Honest input — tell us what’s working, what isn’t, and what you actually want.
  • Realistic expectations — good software takes time. We’ll tell you what’s possible in your timeline and budget, and what isn’t.
