How we digitised stakeholder consultation for Zimbabwe's Tripartite Negotiating Forum — faster cycles, wider participation.
The TNF brings together government, labour, and business to dialogue on Zimbabwe's economic policy. Before this project, stakeholder consultation relied heavily on paper agendas, printed position papers, and in-person meetings — making participation difficult for members outside Harare and slowing the legislative consultation cycle.
JomeTech built a secure digital platform allowing TNF members to submit position papers online, participate in moderated discussion forums, track meeting outcomes, and access a searchable archive of decisions. The system includes role-based access, automated meeting minutes generation, and a public-facing transparency portal.
The platform was rolled out in phases, starting with an internal pilot among the TNF secretariat before expanding to full stakeholder access. We worked closely with the secretariat to ensure the platform respected existing protocol, including the tripartite principle of equal representation.
Post-launch, we provided training sessions in Harare and Bulawayo, and ongoing technical support through a dedicated helpdesk.
